Sure-fire cut-out/sugar cookie recipe?
MIL used to bring the most amazing cut-out cookies when she visited, until the bakery she went to burned down. SInce then, I've made a couple of batches of cut-out sugar cookies, but they were just ok.
I know cookie recipes have been flying around, and I've saved many, but so far haven't seen any for sugar cookies. Anyone have a tried 'n' true version???

This is the recipe that I've used for years and love. The dough holds up really well for using cookie cutters.
