Anyone braved the grocery stores today?
I'm scared! ...but I need to pick up everything for our beef burgundy, so I guess I'd better suck it up and just do it. I'm wondering if I can call a butcher ahead and ask for the meat I need to be set aside? Anyone ever try that?

I had to swing by Whole Foods and it was a zoo, but it was during lunch hour. I bet this afternoon won't be terrible (and it will only get worse the next two days anyway).
You can definitely pre-order meats if it is a real butcher, I don't know about places like Safeway or KS.
Target was BSC, and I had to go to two of them since one of them was out of Andes mint baking chips!
But I'd still rather go today than tomorrow.
