*KST*

did you happen to take a look at the photos I posted?  Obviously there is no hurry now because I have 30 days to return the shirt and since it's almost Christmas I'll just give him the one I have and tell him about it.  Do you think you might be able to help me out after the holidays?  I'll contact Zazzle and ask them what they think too, but I did notice that 2 of the letters ("T") were slightly darker and was hoping maybe you knew why.  Also I think in general I might need to make the handle darker.  Sorry this has turned into such a big thing, I really appreciate your help :)

Re: *KST*

  • Going to look now. I have a theory about the "T" and it might be the way I built the letter, although it shouldn't have made any difference. Darkening the handle will be pretty easy.

  • Looking at the photos, it's bizarre how much darker the "T" is!! I'll have to look at the image file, but honestly, it shouldn't have been like that. The color was set to pure black, 100% opacity, which means even if it was layered (which I did to make it thicker), it shouldn't affect the depth of the black. :/

What did you hear from Zazzle?

  • Haven't gotten a chance yet today until just now, on the phone... :)  I'll let you know!

ETA: ok, sat on hold for 10 minutes, I may try again tomorrow or just wait until after Christmas, lol

  • FWIW, when I've ordered from Zazzle in the past (we did all our out-of-town goody bags for our wedding through them because I needed something ASAP), they've been decent about customer service.

However, whenever I had a problem I had to almost always e-mail to get a response - did you try going that route?  You usually start an e-mail ticket and then go from there and speak directly with someone if it gets to that point.  And be prepared to be treated like a moron: when I complained that they'd shipped me only 50 of the 57 bags I'd ordered for my wedding guests, their first response was, "Hey, we know this sounds crazy, but can you count again to make sure?  Sometimes people make mistakes."  And I was like, "Listen, you morons, I can count and know the difference between 50 and 57.  Send me my bags, stat, because I need them!"  But they did get everything taken care of.

    LOL

yeah, I was feeling impatient and just wanted to talk to someone.  I'll start an email after the holidays since things are a little hectic right now (obviously) getting ready for Christmas and there's not much to be done about it right now.  I do have pictures and figured I'd have to email those to them anyway to prove what was wrong.  thanks!
