i think it looks bigger because she's RIGHT in the same curve of the chair...but if you look close there's space between her butt and the chair.

No, it's not the curve. If you look at the close up picture, from the second link that was posted, you will see that that entire thing is her butt. It looks majorly photo shopped when you see the close-up photo of her.
In one sense, kudos to them for being able to pull off a high fashion look. I laugh trying to picture my parents and extended family trying to do such a shoot. Please someone do a spoof website dedicated to awkward family photos inspired by the Kardashians.
