Re: Babies and bumps (to be)
Over the past week, Christian has added to his vocabulary. He now is starting to say "Yeup," (Yup), and "no way." It amazes me since he is using them in the right context. Also when I picked the boys up from daycare it was wonderful to see Christian sitting in the middle of a circle of other children actually looking and listening to DCP during story time. He never will do it at hom.
Zach is still really close to a first real word. He repeats "E-I-E-I-O" and "la la la", I can't wait for him to do a little more. He also is dancing a lot more. It is a riot to see him shake his head back and forth and move his body while dancing. Cracks me up everytime. He also thinks it is great to take his brothers plate from him when he is done eating and finish up Christian's food. No wonder I have a chubba and a peanut.
Downfalls - is the colds. Their coughs this morning were pretty deep this morning, but it also sounds like it is breaking out. Other downfall, is even at 17 months old, Zach still isn't really sleeping through the night. Lastnight he did wake up twice, but he put himself back to sleep. Please let it continue.
Well, I think my bump is showing up finally.
Please excuse my gross hair. I didn't think it was that bad this morning, and sleep trumped the shower.
If I relax my abs it rounds out more, but well, I feel like that's cheating.
As I said earlier in the week Derek felt his first outside kick. We might have gotten a few more, but it seems like this little guy likes to hang out really low.
Mostly I'm just doing well. I'm 5 months along today and will be 22 weeks tomorrow. I guess the downs would be that the farts have reallly kicked in, and I've had a tight muscle in my neck/shoulder for about a week. I guess its time to book a massage!
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
I think I'll be a complete AW this week. Olivia is going to be 8 months on Saturday. She is still teething and I think she's getting another of her top teeth. This means that once again, we aren't getting much sleep. So far she has four teeth, which you can see here.
She's also starting to eat more foods and solids. Also, she looks more and more like her dad every day.
She is getting so big and I love her personality. She is so sweet, happy and loving. She dances when she hears music, and is trying to clap and give kisses. She also loves playing with her toys and will sit and play for hours at a time.
as a follow up to last week's rant (sorry for the complete debbie downer attack, btw)...
I had my doctor's appt last week - as the nurse was taking blood (I told her I wanted the normal hormone tests that would rule out any issues), the doctor walked in and informed us that they only do blood work on CD3 (CD4 too, if necessary). I was on CD24. needless to say, I got stuck in my hand for no reason.
she wants me to call her on CD1 so she can have paperwork ready for me at the desk... that way I can just come in on CD3, have my blood drawn, and leave. if the blood work comes back with no reasons to be concerned, she will then (her words) "blow in my tubes" to make sure they're not obstructed. if THAT comes back clear, Sean's boys will be tested.
ANYWAY. this was all obviously dependent on whether or not I'm KU this cycle. I tested this morning (CD29) and got a BFN. so I guess I'll be waiting on AF to show up so I can give some of my blood. again. haha
my doctor seems pretty optimistic, which is great. I'm definitely disappointed this cycle (how perfect would a Christmas BFP be?!) but feeling much better knowing that we have a tentative plan in place.

Aw, thanks Mandee pants. FX for a Christmas BFP for you!
Also? I always wonder why they go for an HSG before a SA. I mean, jizzing in a cup is wayyyy easier and much less invasive then blowing up your tubes. GL with everything!
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Good luck to you Mandy!
Well, my hope for a Christmas BFP went out the window when AF showed up on Sunday. I think I mentioned it in another post, but I'm in a bit of a funk about things recently, although DH is doing his best to keep me positive. We're pretty close to going ahead with IUI next month, if this cycle is another bust, so at least there is a next step for us.

38 weeks today and a "fingertip" dilated (I hate how that sounds). I go back next Wednesday the 28th and she may or may not induce me on Friday. So it's just the wait and see game as of now. Here is my most recent bump picture...
Sushi and Mandee...((hugs)) and FX that these cycles are it!
Raynes and Charity...adorable bumps
Nothing new to report on my end from yesterday. I still haven't heard from my doctor, but I called today and left a message. I am hoping that no news is good news, since I thought yesterday went well, but it would be nice to hear from her and to know what the next steps are. Also, she may not be offering prenatal care anymore since our local hospital is closing the birthing center, so I also need to know what my timeframe is for finding a new doctor.
BFP 5/2/11, missed m/c, D&C 6/13/11
BFP 12/8/11--Little Girl E Born 8/22/12
Today I am 23w1d and I finally had a few comments from people who did not know that I was pregnant. One of the nurses at the hospital saw me in my labcoat (which I thought covered things) and pointed and blurted out at me "Beth, you're pregnant!" and an older lady at church asked me if she was 'noticing something happening here?' while motioning at the belly. It's nice that people are noticing so that I know I just don't look fat!
I've still been feeling really well and keeping up my running and my gym. The big thing for me right now is just trying to deal with my stress level. I've been pretty upset about my brother's health issues and with my cat issues but I'm trying to relax as much as I can because I know stressing isn't helpful.
I might be starting to feel more movement. The other night before bed, I was feeling some twitching that I think might be kicks but I'm still not really sure.
I have an OB appointment tomorrow so I'll have to take a long lunch and hope he isn't called out to deliver.
Here is my bump!
Myles will be 6 months old on Xmas Eve ( I cannot believe it's been 6 months already) We're hoping for a tooth soon because all this drool is killing me. He's such a happy little guy, and I love how his personality comes out in certain ways. His favorite thing right now is his jumper thingy. He even "asks" for it by jumping up and down on my lap and giggling.
Here are some pictures of my little dude:

6 months!? Where did the time go? I LOVE LOVE LOVE (yes all caps!) the picture by the tree, such a handsome guy!
Well, I am on my way to 30 weeks! Woo hoo! I can't believe how fast time is flying, I can't wait for my sweet boy to get here so I can kiss his little face. I also decided 2 days ago, that I am unsure of his name, so now I'm waiting til the delivery room to decide.
That's the way we did it - blood work, s/a, then HSG.

The same with us. I think we might have done the s/a first even - basically at the same time.

Ryan has been his name since 17 weeks... I'm just not sold on it still!
Owen, Noah, Carson, Landon, Gracin are my top 5 in my head at the moment!
Hey ladies! I'm still around, I read posts every few days but I don't reply cause I only get online on my phone.
Noah's 5.5 months now, growing like crazy. He's 20 lbs and 28 inches - he's gonna be tall! He's such a good boy, I love spending my days with him. He sleeps good generally too. He's rolling both ways and starting to crawl.
Love seeing all the new bumps!
