Water heater inspector questions
All right, so we got our water heater replaced last month when the last one went kaput, but it failed inspection. I wasn't here for that inspection, so I don't know why it didn't pass (and of course, H couldn't really tell me). A new inspector is coming out tomorrow to check it out again.
What questions would you ask? Obviously, why did it fail the first time, what has been done to correct the problem, etc. but I know jack-crap about water heaters and want to be well-informed.
Thanks! Hoping to get all of this home mess taken care of

Re: Water heater inspector questions
I honestly don't know. I think maybe this company just follows up on the work that they've done? And it's definitely high enough off the ground. That's a new(ish) rule and we had it fixed when we moved into the house. I do know that the closet area it's in has some rotting around the bottom corner, but it's in the garage.
I do know several people that have gotten water heaters over the last couple of years and they all had them inspected, so maybe it's a new thing.
