Rental Car for Grand Canyon
So ...were flying into phoenix...driving to the Grand Canyon and then driving to Las Vegas (and ultimately flying out of Vegas). All the rental car companies I have found are ending up to be around 700.00 for 4 days! Its the whole drop fee...anyone have any ideas on how to get around this?
Re: Rental Car for Grand Canyon
We ran into this same problem, we ended up just flying in & out of Vegas.
But if you have to do it this way for whatever reason we found that if you pick up the car in Phoenix at a non airport rental car location (I think we were going to use Hertz less than 15 min away from the airport) it's like half the price.
Good luck!
I was just at the Grand Canyon a couple of weeks ago and rented a car from California and drove to Flagstaff, then the next day we drove to the Grand Canyon. It only cost us about $300 for the entire trip for the rental from Enterprise.
Have you looked into any discount coupons or offers you might be able to use?
