today is my last day of work before aerospace industry shuts down for a week. woooooo!
i had a super fun day yesterday...mommy-daughter day, we went out to eat, did a little bit of grocery shopping, then went home and we had some of our friends/h's coworkers over for dinner. we all work the same department/hours, so everybody left by 7:30pm after we all had a good time...it's nice to have some other people that eat dinner as early as we do lol....i finished up my homemade gifts (need to take pics), took a shower and went to bed at a decent time.
today i don't have much on the menu...our last labor and birth class, and packing! we leave for california tomorrow!

Happy Thursday... I mean, FRIDAY!! Woohoo!! I can't believe Christmas weekend is already here.
I've got lots to finish up today, and a big Christmas party to coordinate/cook for tonight. Decorating last night went great, and the room looks really really good. I think it's going to be really fun. Once that's over, bring on my five day weekend!!

happy Thursday! I'm so ready for the end of this week. Things are so ridiculously busy around here and they just aren't seeming to get any better! I so badly need to catch up on sleep sometime.
Today I plan to spend tome time sewing. Hopefully get a little girls dress done. Maybe some baking, and getting most of my house cleaned!

It's my Friday! Yay! I work till 2 and then I have a doctor's appointment. I have to run some errands afterwards. DH is making me a roast and potatoes for my birthday dinner, it is going to be delicious!
My dad stopped by my work this morning, it was nice to see him. : )
I am looking forward to going to the spa tomorrow to get our nails done! It is going to be fun!

Yay for fake Friday. When I walk out of here at 5pm, I don't have to be back until next Wednesday at 8am!
Of course - today is going to suck. I have to go deliver a bunch of client gifts, to people I don't know, because our partners are lazy. Good news is its time out of the office, bad news is it's cold outside!
I also have to send out our company email Christmas card... I just created a distribution list with 952 emails. I'm sure that won't bog my system down for a while.
Happy Thursday, I am one of the unfortunate souls who has to come to work tomorrow, but I should be able to leave early (like 2:00 - 3:00).
I found out one of my least favorite co-workers is moving back to the Seattle area soon, she was working remotely for the past year. She is the most self-entitled and stupidest person I have ever met (a HORRIBLE combination). Trying to get her to understand the way our company handles return labels for equipment she's shipping back via FedEx is driving me to want to drink... I wish I had a Long Island from Earl's (on The Ave) to help me deal with her

Happy Thursday everyone! I can hardly believe Christmas is 3 days away!
I've not been around forever I feel like. H and I went up to Napa this past weekend and had the most incredible weekend - relaxing and doing basically nothing. We went wine tasting, he went for a run, we just hung out in our hotel room and read books with a fire going... incredible. We also dined at The French Laundry which was every bit as good as the hype, so I'm glad I crossed that off my bucket list. I thought I was getting over my cold... but when I flew up to SEA on Monday night it got really bad so I've been pretty much down for the count since I got back up here. I made it through a small holiday party Tuesday night and have wrapped a few Christmas gifts but otherwise it's been just a lot of sleeping.
Finally feeling better today though not much is planned. H is WFH today so we are going to find a gym to go work out at and then probably grab lunch. We are going to the Husky basketball game tonight (no idea how it will be) with friends, and beforehand I think I'm going to try to get an early dinner in at my favorite Mexican restaurant since I'm home. Other than that, no plans. It is so nice not having anything to do! I am just eating a bunch of tasty food, reading books, and generally enjoying the cold weather (I know that probably sounds odd, but it was almost 70 degrees in Napa this weekend and SF has been in the low-to-mid 60s for weeks, and it just doesn't feel like Christmas so I am trying to enjoy as much of the Christmas spirit / feeling as I can now!).
