American Horror Story 12/21 Spoilers

We did the same thing. Every commercial break seemed like it could have been a conclusion.
I'm eager to see where this goes next season. How long do we have to wait?
FX shows usually run 12 episodes. This one started in October so I'm sure it won't be back until next October. Nip/Tuck was the same way.

Follistim + IUI 3x = BFN, BFN, very late BFP with super low progesterone --> c/p
Moving on to long protocol IVF with ICSI and PGS in August 2014...how in the holy hell did I get here? FU 2IF.

It didn't have the creep factor. I agree that it tried to tie up all the lose ends "in case" there wasn't a second season. I didn't like how it ended. Where is the second season going to pick up?
Totally agree. I can't wait to see where they take it though, even if I'm disappointed.
I didn't care for the ending with Michael though. Kind of ruined it for me. And why didn't anyone go looking for the baby that lived when they found the husband dead?

i thought they did...when they came to question constance? i just thought they didn't go into detail to speed things up.
i don't know why i just thought of this last night, but why is moira older? she was killed when she was young, but it seems like her natural state in the house is older. none of the other ghosts aged at all.
I wonder who will be back for next season? Since now the "evil" is loose due to the baby being half demon half human (MIchael? Is that the kid's name?), there is no need to keep all of the action in the house anymore. At least, I wouldn't think. I will certainly miss some of the characters (Tate, ZQ - Chad I think, Violet and Hayden) if they stray too far from the house.

Wow... that is so upsetting!
WHAT??!?!? I don't even know what to say. No more Harmons? No more Constance???
I guess, in one way, it will keep the show scary. The first few episodes were so creepy because everything was so unknown. After you got to know about everything, it wasn't so scary anymore. So I guess this is one way to keep it scary. But still....I just....I don't know.
What? This can't be true. So lame if it is.
To answer the questions above:
They didn't go looking for the baby b/c the cops asked Constance what happened, and she said she thought Violet ran off with the baby. Supposedly the cops are now looking for Violet. (It was kind of confusing because they showed Violet's body when Constance said something about "after I found the body," but they were showing that what she said had a double meaning - the cops thought she meant Ben's body.)
Moira looks old because she appears to women (and I guess open-minded men) the way that she sees herself/feels. She has theoretically been aging alongside Constance because she's been "living" a "normal" life, working for all the families that have lived there. She's the only ghost that is present at least part of every day. She's more self-aware than any of the others. Tate hasn't aged b/c he's emotionally stunted and/or spends a lot of time "elsewhere"/not conscious.
While I thought that this episode did seem kind of rushed, like a PP said about them thinking they weren't going to get renewed, I really thought that this finale did the show justice. Sure this show left us with a LOT of questions, but personally every good show that has ended on HBO has had the suckiest finales. Some that didn't even make sense. This show made sense.
I was in tears at the end when the family was decorating the tree. It was almost like a Norman Rockwell kind of family. I was also in tears when Viv as Moira to be the baby's godmother. I thought this was a great way to end this season and while I will miss the characters if they go the route of having them NOT return, I feel that the show would get lame if Tate was still angry (although I LOVE him) and Violet was still sullen.
The one complaint I did have about this episode was no Zachary Quinto. We saw the bug guy for god's sake..why not ZQ?!?

Boo!!! I only watched because I looooooooove Tami Taylor. Unless they get Matt Saracen for next season, I'm not sure I will watch.
