Holy Cake Cookies Batman!!!

Oh my goodness... Dave's mom made these for us when we visited in July and I talked to him this morning asking for the recipe. She emailed it to me and I just made them... soooo yummy and soooo rich... sooo easy....

1 Package cake mix
1/2 cup butter softened (really soft, almost melted)
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
'2 cups chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Pour cake mix into large bowl, stir in butter, eggs and vanilla until blended. (If it is still clumpy, try heating it up so the butter melts and it all mixes together - I added a few teasponns of water even though the recipe didn't call for it b/c it was so thick)
Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto cookie sheet- (She made them BIG... like two huuuuge pancake cookies... I made four but I think that 8 to 8 cookies per batch keeps them all thick and yummy - up to you)
Put chips on cookies Bake for 11 to 15 minutes until edges are slightly browned.
Cool on rack before removing

Sooo yummy... I did yellow cake mix with semi-sweet chocolate chips but I know she's done chocolate cake with peanut butter or butterscotch choc chips and this year she tried red velvet with white chocolate chips... they're super rich....

I posted a pic on fb. :)
