Traditions for Christmas??
What traditions does your family have for Christmas?
Ever since I can remember, stockings have always been the big hit in our family, going back three generations. We always look forward to opening them because they're filled with really creative goodies. Handmade soaps, crocheted goodies, movie tickets, candy, scarves, lip glosses...all sorts of neat stuff! Something we're working on turning into a tradition is watching "It's a Wonderful Life" after we open the gifts, settling in and eating pie while snuggled up with family members.

Re: Traditions for Christmas??
Our tradition has on Christmas Eve has always been church service and then home for soups and appetizers. Like, my family tradition appetizers. There is one my parents call "card parties" because my grandparents always had them when they would have friends over for...ready for it...card parties. It is rye bread, with cheese wiz on top, and sliced green olives on top of that. It is seriously delish!!!
Christmas has been all kinds of things. We would trade each year of Christmas morning presents or Christmas Eve presents. It did seem that on Christmas Eve we would at least get to open any new movies we had gotten, and my sisters and I would stay up watching them. We also always had stockings with all kinds of random fun things. Jeff and I still continue that tradition!
Someone (maybe Lori???) mentioned ordering in Chinese food and watching movies Christmas day...that sounds SO glorious! I wish I lived near enough the Chinese place for it to deliver, because I would SO start that!!!
