X Factor Finale - Spoilers

Josh Krajcik. WOW. That rendition of At Last blew me away. Here is the video.
I'm a wedding planner and I know people will pay money for that rendition to have as their first dance song. He needs to get it on iTunes ASAP. A perfectly updated version of a classic.
Melanie Amaro. Her voice is amazing, no doubt about it. I think she will win...even though I LOVED Josh's performance better last night.
FTR, I think the whole drama (on Simon's behalf) surrounding her not originally going through and then Simon going to her hometown to "get her back" was a ruse to get viewers. Thoughts?
Chris Rene. I really like him as a person and appreciate his story but he's definitely not worthy of the $5 million dollars. I don't doubt LA Reid will help him in his career by further mentoring. I do hope he gets signed.

I agree with everything you said! I think Melanie's last performance just got her the contract. She is so talented and she makes it look so easy to get up there. I will be happy with Melanie or Josh winning.
As for Simon going back to get Melanie, I don't know if it was just to get viewers. I wouldn't be surprised if he just screwed up. He had a huge thing for Drew and for Tia instead.
I don't think Chris Rene is worthy of a 5 million dollar contract. His charity story is getting annoying. And, even though he writes his own songs, he isn't worthy of the contract. But that is just my two sense! He could get signed by LA but I know I wouldn't buy his CD if it came out.

I still find her so boring though! every single time she gets on the stage she does the same thing.
I can agree with that. She does the same stuff over and over and I can see how that is boring, but I just think she is more marketable.
I think they played it safe every week.
I would have loved to see her do something crazy like a dance/club song.

I enjoyed the finale. I thought all 3 contestants did a really good job.
I agree with the previous poster who says Melanie is boring. She didn't take any risks the entire competition. Her performances last night were very predictable. She has the best singing voice of the competition, but performance wise I think she comes in third.
Chris Renee had a good night. I enjoyed his duet with Avril. They looked like old friends on stage together. Not gonna lie, I would buy Young Homie. I was singing the ooohs and aaahs at the end of the song with the rest of the audience.
Josh stole the show for me with his unplugged rendition of At Last. It was amazing. I want it on my Ipod. I'm putting my money on him to win.
I went to high school with Josh and I can tell you what you have seen is just a glimpse of his talent. He is an amazing song writer as well. He has sacrificed a whole heck of a lot for his love of music.
His version of at last would be the sexiest wedding song!
Melanie is has an amazing voice. I would not buy a cd of ballads though.
I am shocked Chris is in the finals. He is ok but I don't see nearly the talent as the other two.
If I hadn't grown up with josh I can honestly say I would still choose him as the winner. Love his soulful voice!
I've never been a Melanie fan. I think she has a great voice, but she is so predictable and sounds just like several other artists on the radio. She doesn't excite me and I always get a snack or something during her performances.
Josh was awesome last night. Both of his performances were really great. I'm torn between him and Chris.
I have always been a Chris Rene fan. I would totally buy the two songs he wrote and performed on the show this season. I just think he's original. He doesn't have the best voice of the competition but he's different and I like it.
Yeah, I thought that duet really sucked. Both of them sounded like ass!
I thought the people they paired them with for duets in the beginning were odd choices and didn't fit with their style of music. The only one that made sense to me was Melanie and R. Kelly.
I love both Josh and Melanie. They've had some ups and downs due to poor song choices on the judges' part (:::I'm looking at you, Nicole:::), but they're both very talented and their last performances this week were amazing!

I won't be upset if Melanie wins since she does have a great voice but I can't get past the irony of her being on the X Factor and not having the x factor! What's that special something that you just can't put your finger on that makes her stand out from all the other girls who can sing Mariah and Beyonce songs? Ummm.... it isn't there!
Having said that, no one really addresses this issue on the show so she could easily get the votes. People are probably just thinking of this as another American Idol, which she would/should easily win.
I think Chris and Josh are great and both entertaining. LOVED At Last, which was our wedding song so it has a special place in my heart.

It is beyond cool. Josh would play Saturday nights at our local coffee shop. His mom was my cheerleafubg coach. Our town of Wooster is so small and the community has really banned together! It's definitely brightened Christmas in our town.
Even if he doesn't win, it's a nice reminder to follow your dreams! He will go far regardless!
