Christmas Eve - going to my ILs for the huge family bash (all of the aunts/uncles/cousins/grandparents). I'm a little stressed about bringing A around all those people because I know we'll be attacked by people wanting to hold her. I'm hoping we can get that over with early on so that I can hang on to her the rest of the night!
Christmas Day - my parents are coming over around lunch time and we will do our family Christmas with them. Then my MIL, FIL, SIL and BIL will be coming late afternoon and joining us for dinner.
We will do our family Christmas with my ILs at their house on Jan 2nd.
This is where my being Jewish makes life easy - we always do everything K's family does!
Xmas eve is a huge party in Southern MA with K's dad's side of the family - LOTS of cousins, aunts, uncles, etc - there will be ham and lots of desserts (Hello Dollys anyone?)
Then we will go back to my IL's house (which is closer to the xmas eve party than ours and no way we want to drive all the way home) for the night. We'll spend the whole day at IL's house while K's brother and his wife and son do the shuffle back and forth between the IL's and her family's house - it drives me nuts, they basically go back and forth every two hours. BIL and SIL were high school sweethearts so her parents also still are in the same town as ILs so at least they are close by.
This is the first time the whole family will be together since SIL's wedding in July and the first time SIL and her hubby have met A, so I'm excited. I also think I did pretty well with gifts this year, at least for SIL and my nephew. We didn't do much for each other or the ILs, but we/they don't need anything anyway!!
Christmas Eve: Lunch at my grandparents'; Dinner at DH's uncle's; Midnight mass.
Christmas Day: Breakfast at our house with my parents and brother; Lunch at DH's parents' house with B&SIL and the twins; Dinner at wherever is open or home
Pretty low key this year and I like it! Maybe by next year we will be home all day on Christmas.

christmas eve we have dinner and do gifts at Rick's grandparents house with his mom's family.
christmas day everyone comes to our house (my parents and brother, Inlaws, & Ricks grandfather)
that's it, that's all - pretty low key (just the way I like it)
Merry Christmas Ladies!!!
We celebrated Christmas with my family this past weekend as my sister and company left for Puerto Rico today to be with her ILs.
Saturday we will drive down to Brian's hometown to stay with his parents and celebrate there. We will stay till Monday sometime, then come home. We are hoping to maybe go to a movie Christmas day, and then of course the Packers play that evening, so it will be an evening in (I'll likely read a book).

I am sorry, I forgot that not everyone celebrates Christmas. I hope I did not offend you. Sounds like fun though!!
Christmas Eve Day-going up to my sister's and exchange gifts with my family and spend time with my niece. My older niece (step niece-if that is a term) is at her mom's and we will not see her.
Christmas morning-Brian and I will be spending it in our new home-just the two of us and the cats. We will have breakfast and exchange gifts.
Christmas afternoon/evening-heading up to my SIL's and spend it with the Brian's family.
Christmas Eve - supper at my ILs with my MIL's parents; and then church service.
Christmas Day - My older brother and his GF, and my one sister and her family are coming to our house in the morning for breakfast and to watch Levi open gifts. Then we will head to DH's grandparents house for lunch, and then mid afternoon go back over to my ILs to exchange gifts with them.
Monday - all my brothers/sisters and their families are coming to my house for our exchange.
Oh please, you know I'm hard to offend :-) I am used to it and honestly I *do* celebrate with K's family. It's kind of nice; I get the best of both worlds and so will Ada growing up!
Ok. You and Ada are two lucky gals of getting the best of both worlds!!! :-)
I want to teach our child(ren) all of the holidays during this time of year-not just Christmas
Me too. I'd love to learn more about all the different holidays myself. I did learn quite a bit more in college once I was exposed to different religions and cultures, but there are still so many that I just don't know about.

Christmas Eve- As of right now we're picking my Grandmother up in MA and bringing her back to CT to spend the weekend with us. She was trying to get out of the trip on Sunday when we were up there, so I'm calling to confirm for sure tomorrow. Once we get back, we'll go to MIL's house for their annual Christmas Eve party.
Christmas Day- We'll be home together and have a blast seeing Christmas through M's eyes complete with photos and videos to capture as much as we can.
We'll go to my parents-in-law's house at 1 and all the cousins will get to open their gifts. We only buy for the kids now. After that, we'll be going to one of Alexi's cousin's house to visit with them and eat dinner.
The 26th- We'll be driving my grandmother back home.
Christmas Eve is always at my parents house. ILs are supposed to be coming but since MIL had surgery to remove a bunion on her foot yesterday they will probably use that as an excuse not to go. Something always comes up.
Christmas day we are spending alone here and then our families are supposed to come about 4 for dinner. I'm kinda nervous about hosting a holiday. We haven't done this before.
My ILs are all at my house for the weekend. Tonight we're cleaning and I need to finish making cookies.
Tomorrow we're taking the babies swimming and I don't know what else. I'm hoping to run over to the mall to make a couple of returns and maybe peek for a late sale dress for the girls. Tomorrow night (evening) we're going to my dad's cousin's for her traditional christmas eve seafood buffet. They open presents at midnight. We'll see if I make it.
Sunday my MIL is making brunch and my parents are coming over. No plans Sun night. I plan to stay home all day if possible. The ILs are going to my SILs Sun night.
Monday we're going to my parents' to see my aunt/uncle, then to a friend's in the afternoon.
DH works 24hrs on Christmas Eve, so I'm going to my aunt/uncle's house to spend that day with my extended family.
On Christmas Day, DH and I are going to my parents' house for breakfast/gifts, then to my IL's house to exchange gifts with them, then to DH's cousin's house for dinner/visiting with his extended family.
I hate going from house to house. It's just too much! We're going to have to figure out a different plan for next year!
