What has everyone been gorging on during this holiday time?
Healthy eating has been out the window for me. I've been eating everything I can get my hands on these days. In no particular order, this is what I have been consuming, and what I plan to consume in the next few days:
-sugar cookies
-gingersnaps
-Reese's bars
-bacon/cheddar dip with sourdough bread
-cheese ball w/ crackers
-ham
-breakfast casserole with bacon/cheese/egg (for Christmas morning)
-pork roast
-scalloped potatoes
-twice baked potatoes
-lots and lots and lots of wine

I've been pretty good (aside from the sugar cookies I made and ate...and the peppermint bark and the trail mix cookies-oh crap that's a lot!). That all goes out the window tomorrow with my friend's bday celebration.
This weekend I will be eating latkahs, crap at the Giants/Jets game, Christmas cookies from holiday baskets and drinking a ton! I want to make mulled wine too!
Let's see...
Today, I've eaten...
- a delish buffalo chicken and cheese egg omelet (sooo good)
- chips and salsa and guacamole at my favorite mexican place for lunch today, accompanied by 2 tacos (brisket and shrimp - similar to bang bang shrimp from Bonefish)
- Milano cookies
- Tonight will be happy hour appetizers and probably more food that's bad for me.
- Oh, and probably chocolate cake balls when I get home from happy hour. Wish they weren't just sitting there in my fridge (thanks to a friend's gift)
Dang, I need to work out.

Ham, Mash Potatoes, creasant rolls, corn, starbucks gingerbread latte, white chocolate latte, santa cookies, ginger snaps, banana pudding
This Weekend:
ham, chicken n' dumplins, mash potatoes, rolls, pie of any kind, stuffing, tea, cinnamon rolls, bacon, etc.
Hershey kisses
M&Ms
Cheesecake
Garrett's popcorn
chocolate covered pretzels
And of course tonight my son wanted to go to the Chinese buffet. Barf
I have been on a diet.
The Stress So Much You Are Sick To Your Stomach diet.
Usually I indulge this time of year, in all the yummy comfort foods. This year I have had so many emotional ups and downs, I have lost my appetite. I may eat some day again.
This was me last year at this time. This year, I can't keep myself away from all the appetizers, sweets, and pretty much anything put in front of me. Hang in there!
If it is not tied down I have been putting it my mouth. It's awful.
Cookies, chips, pizza, crackers/cheese, beer, wine, vodka, candy.
