gift ideas for 12 y/o girl
DH and I usually buy his cousin a gift each Christmas, usually something on the smaller side. I want to get her some clothes this year, I figure when I was 12 and in middle school that's what I started wanting. Any ideas? I have a few thoughts but figured I would ask here! Or is the clothes idea lame? Would something else be better?

I don't think clothes are lame. That is the age where they stop playing with toys as much and start focusing on things like clothes. I have an 11 year old niece and she requested pajamas from us. She also likes artsy stuff and music.
The tween girls this year seem to like the clothes with peace symbols or love and hearts. No clue why. My cousin is like 9 and that is what she loves. Not sure if 12 is too old for that though.
You could always do a fun hat and glove set - you know the ones that look like animals?
This, and I HATE it. It's ugly. I went shopping for my 12 year old niece and I had make my sister put some of that crap down.
