Poll: Christmas Presents!
What is the best gift you think you're giving this year?
Re: Poll: Christmas Presents!
Well it's coming from Santa, but the Playmobil Zoo. N has been absolutely obsessed with this since August and for the past couple of days he can't stop talking about it. He's so positive he's getting it that I'm probably going to hide the present so he opens all the rest of his presents first and let him think he's done but didn't get it. Then I'll pull an A Christmas Story on him and say "hey wait, what's that over there?" The kid is seriously going to freak out when he finally gets his hands on this.
Extra points for your effort, too!
Have you seen the Jimmy Kimmel "Worst gift ever"? I'm thinking that would be awesome to pull on DD right out of the gate
Santa is bringing DD a basketball hoop and she's going to flip! She's been asking for one since August.
I'm excited to see DH's reaction to the flask I bought him, even though it was a silly, impulse purchase.
And while I won't be there to see, I'm excited to hear how the family likes the frames that DD painted for them.
I had to google that. Never heard of it!
I can't wait until DD1 opens her plush Max from Tangled. She looooves that movie! For DD2, I think she's going to be so excited about the Sesame Street playset that we got her.
The two gifts I think DH will be most happy with are one of the small ones, and one big one: the Starbucks mug I got him that will get filled for free the whole month of January, and a fancy new watch.
And I wish I could be there to see BIL's face when he opens up the framed art I ordered for him off of Etsy. He's a chiropractor, and I found a vendor that prints classic anatomy textbook drawings on vintage dictionary or encyclopedia pages. They look very cool and would be awesome at home or in his office. I was very proud of myself on that gift!

Holy cow, we're going to have a little sister!!
you need to video tape him opening this one!
Explain, please.
Chewing Tobacco?
Kitty cult stuff?
Star Wars something or other?
Tomorrow is DDs birthday, and she's getting a Fisher Price digital camera and I know she'll freak about that.
My parents are giving her the loving family tree house and all the stuff to go with it, and she's going to be so psyched.
And she'll wake up to her new pink two wheeler.
Santa will bring her the Squinkie Mall she's wanted and talked about non stop since October. I think she'll be impressed Santa remembered.
I'm totally psyched for DH to open up his Space Mountain monorail accessory, since we said we wouldn't be getting presents this year save for a sofa.
I am most excited to give DH some of his gifts. I got him a year of beer from a local brewery and I know he is going to be over the moon. I also got him the free january coffee cup from starbucks (thanks lite-bright!.)
We got my dad a magnetic digital picture frame to put on his tool box at work and load it full of pictures of G and my nephews.
Mostly I am just excited to see the look on G's face when she wakes up with presents under the tree. She has been really into Santa this year. So I guess it would be the magic.

I got my nephew a pack of Broncos Onesies (Brother/SIL live in San Fran). I'm pretty excited for my brother to open them (Nephew is 3 months old, he doesn't really care)
I'm also really excited to give the scarves I made for 2 SILs and my mom.
We got my mom a camera; she hasn't had one for years and I know she wants one so I'm excited about that.
Also excited to give DH the blu-ray player I got him.

I'm really looking forward to my MIL and FIL's "present." They requested not to receive presents so we made them cherry cordials from scratch (FIL's favorite) and I donated money in their name to my favorite charity, Give Kids The World. I think they'll both tear up and I love it
We also got our niece and nephew a hydroponic venus fly trap kit!
