Hey girls - I have probably used up all my T&P requests, but I am throwing another out there. We just got word that they have to retube my father for a few days b/c his throat keeps closing. My mom is on her way to him to try and see him before they do it. T&P or whatever you have that they can figure this out soon. Thanks.
Update: So they did not retube him. They sent him back to ICU to see if they could get the inflammation down in his throat with some heavy steroids. They are hoping he has a good night tonight and they see some sort of progress tomorrow. Thanks for your T&P, you ladies are awesome and seriously, I don't know how I could get through this without you!

I'm sorry Krissy. You'll be in my thoughts for sure. Have they found out why that's happening? My coworkers daughter had some similar things go on several years ago. It ended up being celiacs disease! I guess she was in a chronic state of inflammation and she ended up in the emergency room very sick, throat closing up. She had it for a long time but it wasn't until she was 35 that they found out what it was.
I hope he will get better soon
