I woke up around 5:00 after dreaming about the day Rufus died. I cried and couldn't go back to sleep so I just got up. Now I'm waiting for DH to get up so we can start getting ready to go out of state for a week. There's a lot to do today before we drop the buns off at the vet's and head down to Aurora to DH's parents to stay the night and celebrate Christmas. What are you up to today?

I'm up! And have been since 5:30. I get up to let the puppy out to go potty a couple times a night and SO does it in the morning... but then every flipping morning he tries to cuddle back up in bed with said puppy. The puppy then proceeds to jump all over us and I get ticked off because I just want to sleep. Tonight I'm giving SO a choice - either take the pup potty all night or don't even think about bringing him into bed in the morning.

Puppies = cute. Puppies who have poop on them because your SO doesn't realize said puppy has jumped in his own poop before trying to bring that puppy to bed? = NOT CUTE. lol

I'm up and have already started laundry. I'm off to the grocery store today to prepare for both Christmas eve and Christmas day dinners. Thankfully, I will be going alone and won't have to do it with two children in tow.

I also have lots of cleaning to do.....groan.... I'd so rather sit on the couch and either read or watch a movie... oh well.

We have to take the car for an alignment (should take 2 hrs ugh), then I need to figure out some sneaky way to get dh home so I can go get some stocking stuffers. I want to go to southlands because he loooooves the gummi bears from rocky mountain chocolate factory and get something for mil. Mostly I just hope I get over this cold today. If I'm not better by Christmas eve, I can't go to in-laws due to sfil's cancer. We had a good Thanksgiving together and it would be good to keep the positivity flowing.

I have to finish wrapping today, and I think we're going to put together DD's little table & chairs. She was supposed to go to MILs yesterday for the day but the snow changed that, so I think she'll go today so we can get some things done. I also need to go to the grocery store to get a few things for my desserts for Christmas day, and we need to go pick up a gift card for FIL & SMIL. DD slept like crap last night though, so I think I might just take a nap when DD takes her to MILs!

I got up at 7:45. My mission today: take another load of stuff to Goodwill (it is amazing how much I keep finding to give away), do all the laundry AND put it away, wrap a few presents, and start packing my office.

My reward is going to the barn and riding later today before N comes home.

DD and I are going to target with my mom. We had planned to spend the day shopping together but I hurt my foot and can't really walk on it. I figured I'll use the cart to prop it up and just drag myself along. I feel really dumb about it because I justed walked right into the door jamb and it's all swollen and black and blue.

We are also celebrating Christmas with DHs stepdad and siblings tonight. I'm really not looking forward to it as there has been a lot of drama this week.

Tonight I need to start packing everything we need to go stay at my mom's for a few days and wrap one last gift.

Here's hoping the work day goes fast...I already know it is going to be a LONG boring day here.

Right now I am trying to will myself to get out of bed instead of going back to sleep while G watches Blue's clues. I stayed up until 2 wrapping

So today I have to do my baking, make and cut a super hero cape, clean up our living room before this evening, run to the store for more wrapping paper so I can wrap the last 4 gifts. G has speech therapy this evening and then we are going to dinner with our friends. I am hoping DH will get hime early today so he can entertain G while I get stuff done.

i am folding laundry...i have 3 loads to fold and put away ugh. we have some guys coming over to put window tint on all the south facing windows. i have to grocery shopping to get a few things then dd and will probably make some cookies for santa and i'm debating whether or not to make a cake today or tomorrow for dessert for tomorrow night.

My kids woke me up dark and early. Now that they're going to take naps I might get some wrapping and meal planning done. DD has a 6 month appt. I have groceries to get and some small errands to run. I'm sure I have some laundry to wash and fold too. I'd already like a nap. DH is still sleeping, the bastard.
