Re: What Gift....

  • I'd say it's a tie between the handmade handprint frames I made (THANK YOU TRICKEY AND PINTEREST :)) that are going to my mom and DH's grandma and the golf bag that I actually drove 45 minutes to buy today for DH (he thinks I'm giving him money because I didn't have time to get anywhere to get him one when it's the only thing he asked for :)).

  • DH's Bruins tickets! I can hardly wait!

  • Probably DH because I don't think he knows what I'm getting him but I think thta every year and he always knows.  Bah humbug.

I am excited to put away a ton of Jane's baby toys and get some new things, haha. We got her a kitchen which I hope she loves.  I knew she'd love the Rocking Elmoand we gave that idea to B/SIL and she does indeed love it.

  • Tickets to the Trans Siberian Orchestra that i bought for DH. He's mentioned wanted to go for the past few years and they happen to be in our area on Monday for a concert.

  • Photo albums of LO's newborn photos.

I was really excited when I came across this little Hallmark bear named Cooper that reads books about Cooper.  (LO's name is Cooper).  Then we got a second one as a gift and I think a third may be on its way.  So now I have to take mine back and try to find one of the other books that goes with the bear.

  • I was most excited to give DH a pair is Nike Air Max shoes from 1995. I had to buy them from China, but he absolutely loves them. When he opened them last weekend, he was like a little kid... so giddy about those damn shoes.
  • Evie's peg perego ride on train!! I don't think she will ever get off of it.
  • We got my sister an ipod and my mom a digital camera. I know they'll love both!
  • I'm just really excited for Molly's first Christmas morning. She is going to freak out when she sees all the presents (oh the paper!) and the big toys we put together.
  • My grandma had a heart attack last Friday and spent a few days in the hospital.  She's been put on a low-fat/low-salt diet and has been stressing out about what she's going to eat.  So I spent last night looking up heart-friendly recipes online and compiled them into a big pdf with pictures.  So then I submitted it to FedEx and had it turned into a book.  I picked it up this morning and I was so stinkin' excited about it that I couldn't stop smiling.  I was even able to have them put tabs in it for each different "type" of food, so it's just like a real cookbook.  I think she'll really like it.

I was going to say the exact same thing that Bethany said. Amazing gift! I am super excited to hear about her reaction:)

I think I am most excited about one of the gifts I got DH. Its 14 different handmade grill rubs. I came across an etsy store, and she makes each one, and packages them in little tins that are magnetic. She includes what is in each one and what to put the rubs on. I think he will really like it, and I am excited we can both enjoy the flavors.

  • The Chuggington Interactive Train set and a dollhouse for Taryn. She has mini dollhouses at my moms, and the girl loves trains so I can wait to see her face! We're going to set up the train tracks after she goes to bed tonight and I'm going to put a red tablecloth and a giant bow overtop of it so she can still "unwrap" it, but it will be all set for her to play with right away!

Thanks ladies, y'all are sweet!  She was really excited about it and looked it through cover to cover.  Then she told my grandpa to go hide it somewhere because she didn't want a bunch of people to look at it and mess it up, lol.  My mom cried.
