Where do all these flu bugs and viruses come from?? (vent)
DS and I have been home since Wednesday. He has bronchiolitis and potentially RSV. This is day 3 or 4 of a low grade fever too. ANNDD - now I'm sick with a cold, cough, and have hardly any voice.
We just got over the dreaded flu bug last week. Now this. Seems everyone on FB posts about being sick or their LO's being sick.
Where is it all coming from!?! Per usual, I shall blame daycare.
I hope you and yours are healthy over the holidays!!!
Re: Where do all these flu bugs and viruses come from?? (vent)
That was us not too long ago. Stripping a crib that's covered in vomit and putting a miserable toddler in the bath at 5am is no fun for anyone.
Ours seemed to leave pretty quickly (DS was much quicker to recover than I was actually.)
LO's are like germ warehouses - I would go YEARS without getting sick - now DS brings all sorts of stuff home and we both end up with it.
Hope P is better (and you are rested) by tomorrow!
Sure did. I get mine free at work (they don't want anyone being sick during audit/tax season and decreasing productivity!) and DS got 2 - the shot and then the booster a month later (I think he received 2 shots because it was the first time he's had a flu shot if I remember correctly.)
ETA: The worst part is having to hand over a sick DS to XH tomorrow for Xmas visitation. I'm scared he'll come back even sicker, which tends to happen unfortunately.
Heck, at this rate we should be immune to everything by the time he's three!
