This lack of snow is upsetting me

For the first time in who knows how long, it looks like there won't be any snow while I have our Christmas lights up. I always take the decorations down after New Year's and looking at the 10 day forecast, there's no chance of snow. Possibly some flurries tonight, but I'm doubting even that at this point. Bummer. :(

  • I agree!! I actually like snow (except when it ruins my plans, ha!) and am itching to go skiing. No sign of the white stuff near me either, boo!!

I love snow at this time of the year. By February I'm usually ready to be done because parking at work suuuuuuucks in the snow, but I'm really sad that tomorrow is Christmas and there's no chance of snow in sight.

  • I agree. This is one of the first Christmas' since I can remember there will be no snow. It's suppose to be in the high 40s and 50s. Really puts a damper on the Christmas spirit!

  • I agree. We love snow, and for me it really makes the holidays feel like the holidays, so our lack of snow this December has really made it hard to get into the Christmas spirit.

  • I totally agree! It's so weird to look out the window and just see brown and dead. This is the first Christmas I can remember where we haven't had at least a dusting of snow (last year we had a few feet of snow!).
  • Just imagine it with 80 degrees and palm trees! I might not celebrate Christmas, but it just feels 'off' in Florida.
  • A few people on FB have posted that it's snowing where there are (a few towns over) so I'm hoping I'll at least see some flurries today!

  • I see some flakes! :)

  • Last year was the first Christmas ever that we had snow. Smile It's cooled off today (50s?), but was 70 all week.

  • I agree! I think our snowy Halloween got my hopes up for a white Christmas. I would settle for a few flurries! This sunny, 40-50 degree weather has definitely put a damper on my Christmas spirit! Fingers crossed now for a white Christmas next year :)
