merry christmas eve ladies! i'm nesting from the road (don't worry, h is driving). we left way late last night (10pm, instead of 6pm), so we're still about 2 hrs from sanfransisco. i've been pretty good with minimal bathroom stops! i took the first shift in driving, 10pm-3am, then sil took over from 3-7, and now h is taking the home stretch.
the extended family finally decided who was hosting christmas eve dinner late last night, so we *do* have a place to go haha.

we're up here in AK, H's parents are really happy to see us and went all out with the decorations. We had a good flight too on Continental - we got a whole row to ourselves and there were outlets so we watched Captain America (pretty good btw, not like "omg I loved it", but I enjoyed it) on my laptop - the battery life is ok, but you know, you have to keep the screen a little dim etc and be careful. ANYwho, Seahawks game today!

Merry Christmas eve everyone! Link and I just walked to Stumptown to get DH Christmas coffee, and now I'm watching White Christmas and already crying at the first song, lol. It was a movie I always watched with my grandparents, and with my grandmother's passing this year (my granddad died 5 years ago and he fought in WWII so it's especially meaningful).
DH is cooking away in the kitchen already. I'm definitely excited for dinner tonight and tomorrow.
Merry Christmas Eve! We are going to DH's parents for opening gifts and then to his aunt's house for dinner.
Tomorrow we go to my parent's for dinner.

Merry Christmas! We're headed to celebrate Christmas Eve with my H's family. My daughter was hoping the other kids would be there. This year, they aren't. At first, she was disappointed. Then, I reminded her they had a new dog. She said, "Oh, that's even better than __ and __." How funny is that?
