New Year's Eve is two weeks from tomorrow, how do you plan on ringing in the new year?

TTC since March 2012 w/irregular and anovulatory cycles.  
Moved to an RE October 2013  HSG- All clear , S/A- Normal , Bloodwork -Normal
Uterine polyp found-  Hysteroscopy and D&C 12/6/13  DX w/complex endometrial hyperplasia
Endometrial Biopsy 3/21/14 - Hyperplasia still present  Endometrial Biopsy #2 6/24/14 - All clear!
IUI #1  w/stims and trigger - Started stims 7/7/14 - IUI 7/24/14 = BFP 8/7/14
Beta #1 8/8 - 47  Beta#2 -137  Beta#3 - 96 Beta#4 -287 Beta#5 -519 Beta#6 121 = early miscarriage 5w4d

    Jason and I have hosted parties the last 3 years in a row but this year I just don't feel like it.  He mentioned it to me last week and I just said 'eh.'  I feel like I always get stuck doing all the work for it and can never really relax enough to have fun because I'm so busy making sure everyone else is having fun, not driving drunk, etc.  I'd sort of like to just spend the evening with him and I, make a nice dinner and get a bottle or two of champagne but I doubt that'll happen... watch us end up having a party lol.

    Last year we had like 5 parties to go to and I think only went to two.  DH and I decided we would just stay home this year, but when I mentioned that a few weeks ago he said he still wants to go out to dinner with his family that night, well my parents have a dinner that night too, so we would have to do that also.  I just want to stay home and chillax on the couch.

    We probably will have a low-key night. I know we are having DH's brother over and have family friends coming over from Romania a few days later. Not like I can have what my dad would call a "get drunk, go naked" night being pregnant and all :)

    There's a local 5k that I'm going to run early in the evening then I'm not sure what we're doing. DH's coworkers have talked about possibly having a party so if they do we'll probably go there for a little bit. If not, we'll probably just chill out at home.

    I have absolutely no clue. We're focusing on getting through Christmas (relatives coming into town and an aunt staying with us, balancing MIL commitments, FIL commitments, etc.). If I had to guess we'll probably be lame and not do anything. It's what we've done for the last 3 years!

    We're going to DH's parents for a late Christmas weekend with his parents, and brother/sil/niece and nephew.  I'm not sure anyone will even make it until midnight Wink

    We are part of a country western dance group that has monthly parties (dancing and pot luck). They have a NYE party so we will go to that. Low stress, not crowded and easy drive outside the city. We were looking for something different but nothing was as low stress or reasonably priced as this. We have friends there but sometimes the group can behave like high schoolers.
