I had such a wonderful holiday. We didn't have a lot of money this year, but we still managed to have the best time!!
I got:
From FI:
Harry Potter Clue & The Unofficial Harry Potter Cookbook
From Bestie and her BF:
Apple Corer/peeler/slicer & a Leggo Harry Potter shirt that says "Dumbledores Army"
From Sister:
Lotion (which I must admit smells terrible LOL), Candle holders, a collage frame, and night pants
From Parents:
$50 Bath and Body Works gift card, jewelry, a new pair of pjs, a sweater, a stuffed hedgehog toy (I've always wanted a hedgehog and they're illegal to own in Georgia), 3 12-packs of Diet Cheerwine (imported from North Carolina!), and festive toe socks
Re: So what did you get for Christmas? : )
Ha! I was just checking out this thread to compare it with what I got:

That stinks!
I got my awesome wine purse and impossible-to-find-anywhere MK watch. Love them both!
I learned something this year: Put all your effort into asking for a few specific gifts. Your efforts will pay off.
No Love Actually again this year. Hope they play it on Australian TV next year!
I think we all need to chip in and send wise_rita a DVD ; p

Nah, I'm ok with it. It gives me extra holiday break time to go Christmas shopping! I'm off to Bilbao with MIL and SIL tomorrow for pintxos (think: Basque tapas) and shopping. Woohoo!
I got DH a "weather station" thingy for Christmas and he asked for a traditional Basque drum yesterday. Do I go big this Christmas and get him both?
From DH, the kids, and "Santa"
The Good Eats books, 1-3
New Calphalon teflon set of two pans to replace my worn out ones
Blu-ray of Sleeping Beauty
Sparkley necklace and earrings set
From MIL
A shirt

Visa gift card
I got
A gift card from my sister, kitchen stuff from my parents and a new laptop from me
From my parents - a Kindle, and a ring from Tiffany I have in two other colors and LOVE. But they accidentally left the ring in London... Oh well, it'll be nice to get another Christmas present a few weeks from now :P
From DH - A necklace with a skull charm and an anchor charm made from antique wax seals. I saw them in a local store recently and mentioned that I loved them so he went back and got them.

From ILs: a new key case, a book I was considering buying myself, a mail opener, amethyst earrings, and a gift certificate for bookshelves.
From DH's Aunt & Uncle: a sterling silver bookmark with a cloissone peacock.
My family doesn't give Christmas presents, but we had a great Skype chat with my in-laws. In fact it was the first "face-to-face" meeting of my parents and my in-laws.
For Hanukkah, but we exchanged last night with brother SIL and nephew (SIL is Catholic):

Now Nesting from Chicago, IL My nail blog:
From Delta: a new laptop battery (seems she was tired of tripping over the power cord)
From H: A silver box chain and Prehnite pendant.
Today at the Boxing Day sales (we were kinda bad) ... a wireless mouse, a new alarm clock and the same model DeLonghi counter top electric oven that we had in France.
The oven may seem silly, but I swear that thing was/is so awesome. We had to leave ours in France due to size and weight. This is the first time I've seen the same model here and it was 60% off. Most of them are smaller and 2x-3x the price. Several times we have said that the little one worked so much better than our piece of crap wall oven. And now that it's super hot, I can roast a chicken without heating up the whole house because ... I can plug it in outside on the covered veranda!
From MIL and FIL: a new scarf and 100? for me and a mixed drink set for H and me
From DH: Perfume, watch, fuzzy house socks (that I get every year and love!), and some fun knee-high socks
From BIL: We got a set of two coffee mugs whose handles are in the shape of a heart. On one is a picture of me that says 'Good Morning H' and the other is a pic of him that says Good Morning My Blue! They were ssuper cute!
From Aunt in law- a soap in the shape of a gem and a plate that it goes on. Smells fantastic!
I feel like I'm forgetting something...oh well
The big present from H, champagne flutes (2) in our pattern. They're so beautiful. It's insane/not practical b/c we don't often drink champagne or entertain, but they are so, so pretty, that I truly do just enjoy looking at them.
Lucy got me a nice tortoiseshell/chocolate colored watch that I'd been eying.
H and I also got each other a joint present (we're not really big 'surprise' kind of people) it's a forcole (basically the rudder/oar lock for a gondola): http://www.forcole.com/images/sutto-02.jpg. Go up to Venice to pick it up Friday. I'm not mad into Venice as a city, but I think it's a cool piece and I like handmade, eclectic stuff from our travels.
Morning! I love seeing everyone's Christmas lists. It makes me feel like a kid again when you went back to school and told everyone what Santa brought you!
My in-laws got us money. My family didn't get us anything, but my mom is coming in a few weeks so I assume they'll have her bring us stuff then.
H totally spoiled me. He bought me a kindle, and a cover for it. New breastfeeding PJs, a breastfeeding top, slippers and a kimono wrap to wear during labour. The only clothes that fit were the PJs but to be fair, he did buy the other stuff in my size and it just fit funny.
From H: I was spoiled: some books, the box sets of HIMYM & Big Bang Theory, a voucher for a fancy restaurant and two swarovski pendants which I picked to replace the lovely cuff bracelet he'd gotten but was too tight for my big bony wrist.
From MIL: some books, a dress I'd picked, a matching necklace/bracelet set and a pair of earrings.
From my mum: an antique candy bowl filled with murano glass candy, a wooden cat ornament, a travel wallet I'll never use and some crampons for my shoes (wtf?). Over the last few years, her presents have become more and more random.
Mom and Dad sent me a box of cookies. Mom made homemade peanut butter cups - I ate them within 24 hours! They were wonderful.
From my mom: Kindle Fire, new running shoes, a few pairs of clothes, a pink pearl and diamond necklace, some kitchen things (oven mitts, measuring spoons and cups, kitchen towels, spatulas), gift cards to use in the US
from DH: a dress, earrings, red wool coat
from godparents: more gift cards and cash
from DH's parents: money, IKEA gift card
