This weekend went by so quickly, but I'll say that it was the best Christmas I've had in a long time!
What was your favorite Christmas gift??
H and I were in bed at 630 last night. I read until 7 but i'm still in bed, being lazy. ALso, the longer I lay here, the longer I put off heading to the gym this morning.
Anyone shopping today? Any good sales going on?? Is anyone working?

Good morning! I got many nice things. I asked for new sleepwear and DH found some really great things, so probably that.
We're both off today so we have to get something accomplished. I cleaned dishes as we went yesterday so the kitchen is even clean. What a nice thing to wake up to.

Hi ladies!
No gift stories from me - we don't do gifts. But DH and I had a lovely lazy day laying around the house and then I made a wonderful dinner. I also FaceTimed with my mom and got to watch my niece open some of her presents.
Not sure what we're doing today, we're both off of work today and tomorrow - I wanted to go to the gym, but its closed. I might take today as a day to clean/organize the house.

We spent yesterday with my family and came home with a whole pile of presents. I got some really nice new workout clothes, some regular clothes, a gym bag, perfume and some other fun odds and ends. I got H a lot of presents because he's always spoiling me, and it was fun to see him opening them.
I just got home from the gym and I have a hair appt in a little bit. H is going to tag along so we can exchange a couple gifts. Maybe we'll get some lunch out somewhere... it is SO nice to have him off the same day I'm off. Friday was so much fun and today will be too - I love getting to spend the whole day just with him. Sappy much? lol. Tonight, I want to cook a big dinner. Maybe roast a chicken. I haven't cooked in a while.

good morning ladies!
i didn't get a lot of gifts....actually i think i only got one haha but i love it. it's a red and gold flute that i had found during wedding planning and really wanted. but i couldn't justify it since i never really play my flute anymore..so h finally got it for me now 3-ish years later lol.
we *did* get lots of gifts for the baby though, which was really nice. since pretty much none of the family will be making it to the baby shower, lots of them got us gifts for christmas...(or the shower?). we got some towels, blankies, toys, bath supplies, dolls..we are very fortunate for great family. i don't know how we're going to carry everything back!
