Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I got what I wished for...
DH got the job he wanted!! He is already working the job as a volunteer, but as of last Wednesday he was offered the job paid full-time. He will start either January 3rd or the 16th (but they are pushing for the 3rd).
For the past year he was working as a volunteer at the local courthouse - well everyone there loves him & he loves his job. In October his friend found out there would be an opening in the Self Help Resource Center at the court & he started to volunteer in that office part-time. He picked everything up quickly, took a lot of initiative & it all paid off when they offered him the job (over 140 qualified applicants including 2 other people who already work in that office).
The best part is he didn't tell me right away. I found out when I walked in the door from work - he bought me a Coach purse I really wanted & on the front was a note saying "I got the job" I was sooo happy & surprised (more surprised than his proposal).
Thanks everyone for your support this past year - it meant a lot - it certainly wasn't easy starting off our first year of marriage living off of one income & help from our in-laws, but it finally paid off!
