Wasn't there JUST a post here about etiquette or something? Last time I saw it there were no replies.. or was it a PERSEC/OPSEC thing?

Re: DD?
Yeah, dd. she wanted to know etiquette about getting jop'ed and then having a ppp wedding or something.
The etiquette would include not lying to people about being married before your ceremony, however you choose to have it, IMHO.
I changed my name
Did anyone reply and she took it as snark? Or she just took it down?
FWIW, We jop'ed it and fully plan on having a vow renewal on our 5 year. Although everyone was fully aware we were getting married. We also had our parents and our best friends at the time there.
I LOATHE when people get engaged and then get married while still telling everyone they're engaged until their pretty princess day (usually with a baby involved). It's just tacky.
You just described my sister's wedding to the T. And I'm totally with you.
Someone posted that on MB, so she probably DDed from here and posted it there. She also said the girls from E were rude to her when she asked there, which they weren't at all.
And I'm also with you on the loathing it part. I also loathe the mentality of some people that we as military spouses are supposed to take pity on the special snowflakes because nobody else understands what they are going through planning a wedding.
That was worth posting on three boards?
Well, I mean, it's a VERY unique situation she has.
