2012

I have been thinking not of making resolutions, but more of a "to do" list for 2012.  I am not sure what I want to include.  Maybe travel, pay off my car, etc.  What would be on your list?

    2. Conceive our first child

    BabyName Ticker
    BabyFetus Ticker
  • Have a healthy baby!

    Lose my pregnancy weight

    Spend more time with family

  • I think my list would include:

-Tone up/lose weight (not even a lot; just want to feel a little bit tighter)

    -Finish my website...FINALLY

-Get updated headshots...which is slated to happen early Feb. so, that's one down!

-Take our next big awesome vacation to somewhere like New Zealand or Thailand

    -Get a new couch

I don't know what else...this is what's in my head right now...!

  • Continue to lose weight by eating right and exercising.

Finish Community College and start towards my 4 year degree.

Go on an overnight backpacking trip.

    Catch a steelhead.

    Edit: Run a sub 33 min. 5k and participate in a 10k.

  • I laid in bed last night and thought more of my list.  I would add:

    1.  Travel to at least 5 states

    2.  Get 2 papers published

    3.  Buy new windows for the house

    4.  Pay off half of credit card debt

    5.  Read 25 new books (I read 20 this year)

    6.  Complete 3 new craft projects

    7.  Go to church at least once a month

  • 1. Tone/get some weight off that I've gained in the past year. It's not much, but it's enough to make me feel uncomfortable.

    2. Save more money.

    3. Cook more with my husband rather than eating out.

    4. Get new floors down in the house.

I am going to steal your #3.  We need to do that too!

  • I was thinking about this... mine is also more of a to do list. I feel like resolutions are OK to not follow through on, but a to do list is an acknowledgement that it has to be done :)

    Here are mine:

    1. Start meditating again

    2. Start taking prenata vitamins regularly

    3. Get into a healthy shape before #4

    4. Get pregnant :)

There are probably way more, but these are the things I really want to do in 2012 :)

  • I have a few on my To Do List... but the biggest one is Get Pregnant!

  • Lose weight/tone up a bit.

Drink less <- that's really a resolution, but still.

    Pay off more debt.

    Travel.

     Save more money.

    Don't get pregnant. lol

  • My one resolution is actually a threat to the year 2012:

You'd better be a fuckton better than 2011. Or else.

Haha, yeah.  I love to cook, but DH isn't a big cook.  I do most of the meals at home, so when I just don't feel like cooking, we usually order out or go out to eat.  We both want to start eating healthier, and it's fun to cook together, so this is a goal that we're going to try.  When we are craving going out, we are going to try going to the store and getting what we need to cook what we are craving.  We will still eat out, I'm sure, but we are going to try to limit it to once every 2 weeks rather than 2-3 times per week.

I think I'm gonna go with this.

    Do the creep.
  • I have 3 goals for 2012...

    1. Make healthier choices more frequently (ie, more often than not!) I am trying to avoid the 'all or nothing' attitude that always derails any resolutions I have...so if I start to make healthier choices, like going for a walk instead of watching hours of reruns on tv, then hopefully those choices will turn into a healthier lifestyle with the desired results of being healthier, losing weight and feeling better.

    2. Start researching cameras, save to purchase one and get into photography. I have become obsessed with photographs in the last year (perhaps related to the wedding process...) and I am just really into the idea and starting to use a real camera (not the one on my phone!)

    3. Finish paying off my consolidation loan and my student loan. I am so close to being done both...so I should be good to go by summer!!

    I have 1 big wish for 2012...

Hopefully find out a resolution to our fertility issues and be able to get pregnant, have a safe, healthy pregnancy and a happy little baby.
