Hi ladies.
How was everyone's Christmas? What was your favorite gift if you celebrate? I hope everyone had a great weekend.
My Christmas was great. This year was amazing since the boys were more into it. It's been great to see them all playing with their new toys. Only problem we had was one opened their Elmo guitar before the other. There was some fighting and meltdowns until we found the other one. Lol. For me my favorite gift was DH got me a new lens for my camera.
Today I am enjoying one last day of full family time before I head back to work tomorrow.
Have a great Monday ladies!

Re: Happy Monday
Aww I bet it was so fun to see your boys so intrigued by all the goodies you got them! Since I don't have kids I was reacting the same way to my dogs opening their gifts haha My Christmas was amazing. It was the first one in our new home and we had family over for gift opening and dinner. I got all sorts of baking supplies for my side business so I'm going to start trying those toys out today! My favorite gift though was given to me by my hubby. He took my wedding set away from me (I thought I had lost it since I couldn't locate it for two days) and upgraded the diamond to a larger and higher clarity stone. We were young and broke when we first got my ring and he decided with his Christmas bonus he wanted to put something nicer on my finger. It was such a sweet gesture and um...it's now half a carat bigger
Sounds like you both had very nice Christmases!
Our Christmas was pretty nice. We woke up and cuddled for a bit before getting our hot chocolate ready and opening our stockings. Since we have spent so much money recently on the house, we didn't buy each other presents. We bought a 60 inch flatscreen TV at costco on Christmas Eve Day. It was a great deal and I'm excited for when we get the stand and get everything all set up. So, not much extra cash to to spending.
DH did buy me something pretty awesome, though. A 36 count box of Fun Dips (lik-m-aid) lol! I love me some flavoured powdered sugar. My MIL bought me some HUGE peanut butter cups. Seriously, it's a 2 pack of 1/2 pound (each) peanut butter cups. I think she's trying to fatten me up! We have a plan...I'm going to take one each to a party we have this weekend so that we don't actually end up eating them. The nutritional info is by the 1/12th cup!
I really enjoyed spending the time with both our families. My niece was just so excited about absolutely everything she opened...she's 3...it's such a fun age.
Today I've already been to the mall for some quick Boxing Day sales at the only real maternity store in our city and managed to get 5 tops for relatively cheap. It's going to be 43 degrees here today so I'm hoping to get out for a run/walk and we're going to see Mission Impossible at the IMAX theater tonight. My 4 days off have been exhausting!
I had a nice Christmas. We woke up and went to the IL house for breakfast and present opening. I got a new pair of slippers which I was stoked about, being that Rockie at my last pair. I got more fiestaware (I may have a problem). We also got some money that we are going to put towards some new funiture for the new apartment. C got some clippers which is super exciting, we no longer have to borrow his parents.
We then went to my parents house and opened gifts with them and had lunch. Then it was back to the apartment where we unpacked and organized. I am going to have to get a shelve to keep my dishes on (like I said, I think I have a problem).
We finished out the night with dinner at the inlaws and a phone call to my brother. It was a great Christmas.
This Christmas was the best ever, aside from DHs family drama. Myles had an awesome Christmas, lots of presents. Also getting to hang with Rebaann and J for a while was great.
Sadly S's mom and oldest brother decided to ask us if Xmas was just going to be family, or if Myles would be there too. I pretty much lost my shiit on them. Needless to say we will not be subjecting our son to that kind of BS.
What??! How could they say something like that? I'm so angry for you.

MO - oh my. How could they? Do they live under a rock?
Our Christmas was low key. We don't do gifts, so we just hung out. I did get to FaceTime with my mom while my niece opened the gifts at her house. My older brother FaceTimed me later in the night so my other niece could sing me Frosty the Snowman, it melted my heart.
Then I cooked an amazing dinner and DH and I drank wine and had a movie marathon.

This makes me so mad! That is such BS. I am sorry. I loved the pictures that you posted to facebook.
OMG! That is wrong on so many levels. I'm so sorry that you had to deal with that. I'm also angry. Ughh. Why do some people just not get it. Hugs.
MO - that is so ridiculous! I would've slapped them, Christmas or not.
I'm finally winding down from all the fuss. I got a few new Wii games, some clothes for Jackson and new toys. Let's face it..he can't play with them just yet, so someone should. Rock n' Roll Elmo had me laughing for longer than it should have. haha.
We had an awesome time hanging out with family. My brother got to experience another good cousin's night, and my dad actually drove up to meet his grandson. It was really nice to see everyone getting in their snuggles for the year. I'm sad that I probably won't get to see it again for another year. I hate that family lives so far away.
The hubs made out pretty well from his family, but I think we'll also have a few returns this year, which normally doesn't happen. Too many people with all the same good ideas.
My favorite gift this year is probably my new sewing machine. i don't think I'll get to use it much, but it sure will be fun to try and get some crafty things done around the house.
