So, I was planning a trip to Vegas
For just BF and I. And he was kind of hesitant and feet-draggy. I was working with luvjon (thanks K!) and getting what I thought were great prices. He was very ho-hum, blah blah blah...
And now I know why!
Part of my Christmas present was a surprise weekend getaway the weekend of my birthday to Missouri Wine Country (Hermann, MO). We are staying here:

Haha! It's okay! I cried too! I've wanted to go to this place FOREVER, and he apparently is a really good listener.
I know we are staying the first 2 nights at the place I linked above. And then the last night is a surprise!
And I just found on the site that they bring you homemade chocolate chip cookies (still warm) and ice cream EVERY NIGHT before bed.

We are! We went on a little winery tour last year around my birthday and it was a lot of fun. This one will be a lot better than that because there are a ton of wineries around this place.
I always liked sweet wines, but have since learned to like all kinds.
Looks like a dump.
I want to go to CA and do lots of wine tours there, a friend did that and loved it. This sounds similar and closer, so maybe we'll venture out sometime!
We want to do this too, especially the Napa Wine Train. Someday!
