My dad, bless his heart, got Ian and E a box full of used, gross, smelly, dirty, broken stuffed doll and animal toys for Christmas. Even wrapped them up.
I didn't know what to say, except move the toys aside and tell E that we'll play with those later (as I thought in my head "those are going in the dumpster as soon as we get home").
We don't mind used stuff (I shop consignment all the time and we get tons of hand me downs from my neices for E). I just can't do dirty and broken toys.
Did you or your kids get any odd or weird Christmas gifts?
Re: Gross Christmas Gift
WTF
my sil asked for those last year. olive oil dispensers
L got some stuffed animals from the goodwill (from MIL), they will be going back. Bleh. I know I run a consignment sale but used stuff animals (even at my sale) gross me out.
Our strange gift was a bull dog figurine from IL's??? We have a boxer. And there is no mistaking it what it is. Weird.
