Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Heartbreaking Story (BR)

The baby is totally healthy but the mom stopped chemo so she could carry him safely and then passed away.

  • Oh, that's so sad. :( 

    I can't imagine losing your own child and then having a grandchild within weeks. I can imagine it will hopefully help them all grieve a little less each day as they see the baby grow.

  • Wow, that's really sad. And at such a young age, but what a sacrifice for a teenager to make.

    Can you imagine having that kind of mindset when you were a teenager? I think that would still be a tough decision to make NOW, much less when I was 17.

    No I can't. What an amazing kid she must have been. I'd be pretty proud to be her parents.
