In need of some powerful vibes
I don't ask often, but I love the power of the Aug. 09 vibes. They are truly wonderful.
I have been keeping this pretty quiet for a while now (with the exception of close friends and my mom and sisters). I found a breast lump a couple weeks ago and went to the doctor. The reason I booked in to see the dr in the first place was because of this horrible itch I've had deep inside for almost 3 months now. When I saw the doctor he did his exam and asked me a ton of questions about my general health and family history. By the end of my visit, my doctor told me he suspects it could be cancer and sent me off for a bunch of tests. My ultrasound, (mammograms don't show enough of a woman my age), showed an odd shaped mass right where the lump is. Then I had blood work and an ECG. The woman who did the ECG said my heart is fine btw.
I get my results back tomorrow and I am terrified out of my mind. DH went back to work this morning and won't be home till Jan. 10th so for now I have to deal with all this crap on my own. I'm just wondering if any of you have some vibes you can throw my way that things go well tomorrow and my results come back clean. I'll keep you all posted tomorrow after I get back from the doctor. This is the most nerve wracking thing I've personally had to experience in my life.

That is such a scary thing. I've been through something similar after finding lumps in my breasts. After ultrasound and mammorgram, they determined it was nothing serious (fibroadenoma) and I just have to go in for regular checks. I'm hoping it's the same for you.

I am in the same boat, so I am thinking of you and know how scary it is. I go next Tuesday for a follow up mammogram & u/s to make sure a lump they found hasn't gotten bigger. (mind you I have one that you can't even feel on the outside it was only detected due to my mammogram).
