I have looked high and low for a pair of bright white mittens to match her hat and jacket (LL Bean from last season).
I would like them made from a higher quality fiber (rather than something I can pick up from walmart or joann's).
Is anyone game for making them for her? Paid of course

Re: My kid needs mittens
I could knit her a pair pretty quickly if you want. I'll do it for free if you want to buy the yarn. I'll look at the pattern I used for Marcus last year and send it to you - it's a basic toddler mitten with a string to go through the coat which is pretty handy. Then either you could go to the yarn store and pick out a yarn you like that is the right weight, I think worsted weight, or you could check on KnitPicks or WEBS yarns to see if can find a worsted weight there in the right color/material. I'd recommend doing one that has a high percentage of wool, because wool is naturally water resistant. Marcus' mittens are 100% wool, and after an hour playing in that wet snow Friday, his hands were dry and warm still. I actually knit them out of a yarn I get at Michael's or Joann's - it's just paton's merino 100% wool, but I'm not sure if it comes in a bright white. You could check.
