As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Update on Christmas at my Mom's
It went pretty well. She still has a lot of work to do, and in some ways I was disappointed she didn't have certain things done/cleaned up, in other ways I was really impressed. Everyone had a really great time. My BIL is once again the family hero, as he took over co-hosting duties with my mom.
We did end up leaving the dogs with my IL's for the day, which was a great idea. I started to get nervous as we got closer to the house but DH reassured me it was fine. Our parents are very similar, and while I wouldn't put them in the hoarding category, they tend to collect in the same ways, so he understands the frustrations.
