We're discussing vaccines, y'all.

Human nature. That's why the 60's had sit ins. That's why we have Occupy Wall Street going on now, That baptist church that hangs out at military funerals and such.
Why do you feel the need to put me down for my opinion? Everyone has opinions, weather or not it's popular is not the point.
Love it. Civil Rights and Westburo in the same squicky sentance.
Where was the food safety thread? I love the ignorance in those.
Oh background: DairyGirl (as the name implies) works a family-run dairy farm, which y'all probably know because she's a Nest regular. The bad formula thread isn't really that long or entertaining.
I'm always tempted to post this link in the anti-vax threads:

You're right, it sucks. I love Dairy. I want a dairy farm in the worst possible way, so I'm jealousE of her and all of her cows.
Don't tempt me like that! It is not nice!

I'll put in here what I always want to say about blind non-vaxxers who tell vaxxers that they're putting their kids in harm's way...
"Your kid might be better off dead than being raised by someone who is this stupid"

Please someone post this. It is hilarious. Tell Cloudy they put it in Vaccines.
Done, lol.
LOL - I have Dairy and Katie to help me hold down 3-6 but it's still hard work.
It's not clicky!!! No one will open it now! Evil FAIL!
I kind of want one of the t-shirts. Can we get some badges with ribbons on them to help raise awareness...

Then I'm definitely vaxxing my kid. ESPECIALLY if it's a boy. I want a son that will take me to Broadway plays and make sure I don't wear lipstick way outside of my designated lipline in my old age.

I vaccinated my son, and now he LOVES to do my hair. I guess it can be considered a win/win
Same here. Haha!
In addition to not vaccinating, she's also the perfect mother.

Sailorette, I am DYING at your other post over there, in which several posters genuinely thank you for providing entertainment by making them look stupid.
I just went back to reread.
Head. Desk.
I just hope that Mommy of the Year keeps her non-vaccinated, polio and whooping cough spreading kid away from mine.
Doesn't anyone read the medically-accurate statistics that show how diseases like whooping cough, mumps, and measles are on the rise due to so many not vaccinating their kids? (I'd link to studies and articles but I'm too lazy.) I just don't get it. They've already said that the autism link wasn't true, so what exactly is the reason to not vaccinate? I just don't get it. There have been so, so many stories about how people have the "herd" mentality, thinking that their kid won't get sick because everyone else's kids are vaccinated, but with so many people not doing it coupled with people coming into the country from areas that still have the diseases and no vaccines...ugh. I just don't understand it. And yes, this is kind of a hot button issue for me. To each their own, but I think people who won't vaccinate their kids are stupid and putting their kids and others' at risk for a disease that'll be a lot worse than the child having to get a few needle pokes.
