This one really has me rolling my eyes today.
Parents:teach your kids some manners, quit slacking and be adult.People who choose not to speak (or attempt to learn) english when in the us: get some schooling
Then he proceeded to comment on his own status: or (better yet) go back home, and ill come start jabbering at you really fast in english. I mean really, if you are going to LIVE in another country you should learn the language. And to illegals: off, die, gtfo, or learn english, become a citizen, and get a good job. What could it hurt, right? You are learning and getting more than .50 an hour. c'mon..

Why is it that the people who are the most adamant that immigrants need to learn to speak English mangle the language so horribly? I'd like to buy that guy a box of apostrophes. And what does he have against capital letters? I'd also like to see what he scores on the citizenship test, because most Americans wouldn't pass it.
WTF does he mean by telling illegal immigrants to "off"?
My neighbor had a "Speak English or Go Home" bumper sticker until she replaced with her current NObama gem. If a box big enough existed, I'd totally ship her fataass to the third world so she could see how she liked it.
He's normally not posting much of facebook, so I hadn't really caught on to his ignorance before. From what I do gather, I bet 95% of the immigrants in our nation could or have done better things than he ever will.
My MIL complains whenever she hears anyone speaking with even the slightest accent that she can't understand them and they've got some nerve coming here when they don't even want to speak our language. Yet she commonly says things like "He don't sing good" and "He ain't got none". She knows absolutely nothing about American history or government (she says all that stuff was too boring for her to pay attention to in school), yet insists that because the Pilgrims were Christians that the U.S. was meant to be an explicitly Christian nation.
I also love how all of the people complaining about illegal immigration assume that their ancestors all came here legally.

Really, though. I just unfriend those people. I don't care if I'm related to them or if they were my BFF in high school or whatever. Those people just get an immediate de-friend, and that's that.

My great-grandparents came here from Italy around the 1910's, never became permanent citizens and never learned English, but managed to raise 6 responsible, hard-working, tax-paying children (two of whom fought in WWII). Excluding the First Nations, we are all immigrants here.
