BWLO: Little People Zoo - Extra Figures?
Does anyone have the Little People Zoo for the LO? If so, were you able to find the extra animal figures anywhere?
MIL bought Nora the zoo, and it's adorable, but only comes with three animals (and there are apparently 12 more available). We want to try to collect the extra animals for her over time, but we have been unable to find them anywhere. We knew in advance that MIL got this for Nora, so we looked throughout the last several weeks while we were out Christmas shopping. Target, Walmart, TRU--couldn't find them. They're available online but are ridiculously expensive.
Just curious if anyone got lucky anywhere and/or knew a good place to find them.

We got Julia this for Christmas also and have been collecting the additional animals. I looked online and saw them for $15 and almost returned it because of that! I knew there was no way I would buy very many of them for that price. I found a gorilla at TRU for $5 and snatched it up (I later realized that came with the zoo). Since then I have gotten her the bear, seal, penguin, tiger, rhino and ostrich at Wal-Mart for $2.50-$3.00 depending on the animal. I would keep checking Wal-Mart, sometimes ours has them sometimes they don't. They had several a few weeks ago and I went back to get the alligator and elephant and they were all gone. I checked yesterday and they had them back in stock, but only the ones she already has.

Thanks, Heather. Where did you find them in Walmart? Near all the rest of the Little People stuff? That seems like common sense, but I did some more Googling this morning and it sounded like a lot of people were finding them in the Christmas/stocking stuffer section of Target in December. WTF--I never would have thought to look there, so I guess we missed out!
