New Years Plans?
Does anyone have anything exciting planned? Or are you keeping it low key this year? I can't believe that 2012 is almost here...and our 2 year anniversaries!

We'll probably be spending the night with a few other couples. these friends already know i'm KU because they totally called me out when I wasn't drinking wine last weekend with the rest of them, so it will be easier to spend it with them, since they'll know why I'm not drinking.
NYE is also SIL's holiday (we each have a holiday that we're responsible for...), but I can't handle another holiday with DH's family that involves drinking. I'm going to have to avoid them at all cost until we hit 12 weeks.

We're celebrating our anniversary 12/30 and headed out to our favorite bar (with an awesome drink package!) on 12/31. Since we're going to TTC in summer of 2012 (OMG!), we want to live it up as much as we can before we start! Ok, maybe I'm just using that as an excuse to go crazier than ever...but hey, it'll be fun either way!

If we were in the US, we'd go to dinner and a movie with my parents. NYE is my mom's birthday and we always celebrated with dinner and a movie. Here I'm not so sure what we are doing.
DH wants some excitement, but I prefer to stay home, especially if I do not finish my book. I hate to carry a book over from on year to the next, so if I am not finished, I will drop everything NYE to finish.
I think we may take some treats and go visit a friend who has just had brain surgery. We'll see what kind of treats she is allowed and then have a quiet party with her, even if it means ringing in the new year at noon.

I'll still be here, promise! Even if we beat all the odds and I got KTFU right away, the kid wouldn't come around until 2013...plus I'll have plenty of Nesting time during mat leave and when I'm back at work.
And who knows, I may end up totally chickening out when it comes to actually TTC (don't tell H!).

M & I are talking about TTC in April...I'm super excited and terrified at the same time. I think if it does happen though, I'm going to want to blast it to the world, so you will be tired of listening to me post here about it, I'm sure.

Haha - it's ok Noron - TTC is scary and exciting all at once. I'm sure H will understand if you want to wait a little bit longer.
