we had to put her down :-(
it was a hard decision but she had a pretty big seizure tonight and we felt things had progressed to a point where we needed to let her go. this was the first euth for both of us and it was traumatic. i am still processing. we only noticed she was sick monday night so it's sort of hard to believe she is now gone.

Re: we had to put her down :-(
Ditto. It's hard to put a pet down but you did the right thing. My heart goes out to you, I'd be in a bad place if I had to put one of my cats down.
Oh MD, I'm so sorry! It's such a difficult decision, but know that you absolutely made the right one. She's no longer suffering, or in pain. And I'm sure Murphy met her up there, and they're sitting in the sunshine.. and rolling in nip.
{{{big hugs}}}
oh, no. I am so very sorry about your kitty. I popped in to see the posts on how everyone's holiday went and I saw your's. I can only imagine how hard it was for you to make the decision, even though you know in your heart it was the right one.
Only solace I can give to you is to know that your kitty is not suffering anymore. And that you gave her the best life possible while she was here. XXXhugs.
