That's a big number.. Kind of AW'ish
I made a weight loss ticker this morning (see below) I know how much I have to lose but actually looking at it on the ticker is scary. How the hell did I let my weight get this out of control? Ugh. I've lost my first 10 so at least the amount I need to lose is now a double digit and not a triple digit. /woe is me.

Just take it a bit at a time! You can totally do it.
My ultimate goal is to lose 107 and I'm at -85ish right now. It's taken a while (2 years of actively losing), but you have to have small goals and motivations. Also, realize that maybe you'll want to give it 2 hard months of losing, and then take a month of maintaining. It's really important to not push yourself to go go go for 102 lbs. but look at maybe 10 lb. increments, then sit back and be proud, maintain it for a bit, then push to lose again.
I'm cheering for you
This exactly! That's an awesome first step. It seems like you just started and you're already a 1/10 of the way there! Also ditto everything Ashlee said. Give yourself little breaks here and there to just maintain. You don't want to burn out. Remember to reward yourself! We're all cheering for you!
That's awesome! Great job! Ten pounds is definitely enough to be able to tell a difference too in how you look and feel. Yay!
This is something I struggle with, but good advice - that's it's okay to maintain for a little bit before pushing hard at losing again. Maintaining a weight loss is good too and nothing to beat yourself up over.
I agree with pp. 10% is HUGE progress. Keep up the great work. It will feel old hat at some point, and you will hit some plateaus. Dont beat yourself up over that. Create some small goals and reward yourself for the progress you make. Another 10 lbs? Get a mani-pedi or massage. 10 more? Buy a new outfit. etc...
And when you're feeling low or ready to break, let us know and we'll kick you in the a$$!
Thanks ladies! I knew I could count in you all for a reality check.
I do have small goals. My first one was to be below 220 and I've already met it. My next goal is 215 b/c I'll have my 10% star from WW. My first big goal is to be below 200 pounds. Trust me, the day I weigh and see 199.9 you'll all know. My 1 year goal is 50 lbs. I'm confident I can meet that too.
I know it takes time and it is/will be hard work. I'm so thankful that I have you all to support and encourage me. *tear*.
