Re: picture people?
they told me that it would be fine to email or post on facebook, but wouldn't print well at all
the club is worth it if you use it. i used to get it - it's nice to get $10 off and a free portrait that can be combined with their other coupons and deals.
Agreed....only good for use on the computer (email or facebook) and you can order prints of them on websites like shutterfly (much cheaper than getting prints from picture people themselves), but they don't print well. They are low resolution pictures on the CD.
I think if you go multiple times per year the membership would be worth it. We never did it because we only do pro-pics once per year, and we may even skip them this year based on how well her pro christmas pic session went. (It didn't go well at all....nightmare.)
JCP does an instant CD also (just without their edits of centering and effects all of which you can do at home). They have been having a ton of sales lately too.
I got a free year membership for buying Picture People CD when I went through a promotion. It gives free prints and stuff but IMO not worth it otherwise...
JCP club gives same kind of offers PLUS stores your pictures for 2 years!! Much better offer IMO if you don't want to buy the CD every time plus you can go back at other vists and add on past photo sessions at same discounted price of current order... So if you want to do a collage of 3, 6, 9, 12 months for example. I am doing that for C this year, I joined at 6 months for J so he missed out LOL.
Also if you want 1 hi res image on a CD Sear's has coupons for a $10 package with that included and JCP has their $40 one floating around groupon/livingsocial
