What's on your front door?

I know no one is here this week, so I probably won't get many replies, but eh.

What's on your front door (decoration-wise)? Does it change throughout the year? I have a Christmas wreath and a Fall wreath, but I kind of want another wreath or something for the rest of the year.

Re: What's on your front door?

  • We don't have any front door decor.  I would like a Christmas wreath but I haven't stumbled upon one that I like enough.  I have decor commitment issues.

  • We have a Christmas wreath on our door now. We also have a Spring/Summer one and a Fall one.

My friend send me the link to this do it yourself wreath--isn't it pretty?

  • A christmas wreath. I love it!
  • I have Fall and Christmas/Winter wreathes, but I don't normally have anything up for Spring adn Summer - I can't find anything that's not ridic cheesy.

  • On the front door I have this little wooden snowman sign that says "Let it Snow".  I'll probably keep it up through February-ish time because it's certainly winter decor and the only other thing I have is this little metal "Welcome" sign I got at the Dollar Store.

On the back door (the primary one we use) we have a "Merry Christmas" sparkly sign thing that I love.  The back gets all the attention though and gets the wreaths/signs/decorations that go with the holidays throughout the year.  This weekend, we are putting up purple Ravens lights around the door and we'll put Ravens stuff on the actual door.  It'll stay up until the Ravens go to the Superbowl.

  • I have a fall, Christmas, and winter wreaths.

For spring, I put together a cream colored door bucket full of brightly colored flowers.

For summer, I made a white door bucket with red, white and blue flowers and a small American flag.  I figure with Memorial Day in May, 4th of July, and Labor Day at the beginning of September, I can go with a Patriotic theme all summer.

Typically I put together all my front door decor b/c I usually can't find exactly what I want without breaking the bank.

  • I have a metal candy cane with decoration on it that says "Love, Hope, Joy"  It's one of those deco pieces you can get at AC Moore or Michaels.  I change them for every season

  • We still have a Christmas wreath and we also have two Christmas ornaments that DD made that we never hung on the tree (they are taped to the door).

Normally through out the year, we have nothing on the door.

  • Right now it's a basic fake greenery wreath with a ginormous bright red bow on it, hanging from a snowman wreath hook.

I have a metal pumpkins wreath that I bought at Target eons ago for the fall and never remember to hang up. I'd love a pretty all-season wreath, but haven't found one I love and/or am willing to pay that much for (wreaths seem so expensive!). Plus we don't have a storm door, so I need something that can withstand the elements.

  • It's currently a wreath w/ a giant Christmas plaid bow on it.  We have a fall wreath, too.  Next up is to find something (or things) for the rest of the year...
  • We have holiday wreaths and decorations and then for the times bettween holidays we have a cork wreath.
  • We don't have any decorations on our front door.
