Ok, I know this isn't a local place, however I thought I would give a review in case anyone needs an idea for a place to go by the mall. We went to Newks yesterday. It is on East Beltline, near Best Buy. It just opened up a few weeks ago.
They have fresh salads, soups, gourmet pizzas, and sandwiches. You place your order when you walk in and then they bring it to your table. There is a toppings for your sandwiches and salads (homemade croutons, pickles, grated cheese, etc.). I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and broccoli/cheddar soup. It was really good. I liked the bread on the sandwich. It is a nice alternative to fast food and less busy than Panera Bread.
Re: Newks
Thanks for posting. I was curious.
Has anyone been to Green (I think that's what it's called) on the E Beltline by Noodles?
No, haven't heard of it.
I thought of you at Newks. I'm not sure how late they are open, but it would be a good meeting spot for your group. The dining room is pretty big.
Thanks for the review!
