AW: New Job!
I interviewed for a new job a few weeks ago, and had gotten unofficial word that I had gotten it, and my clearance needed to be revalidated. I got the final offer today, with a start date, so it's official! It's a promotion and doing exactly what I've wanted for a while now. I've been a fed for a long time, but for the past year was a weird hybrid status where I wasn't civil service or a third party contractor, so missed out on a lot of benefits. This puts me back in the civil service, which is another big plus.
It will be more travel, which worries me a little bit because it will require a lot of coordination with DH, but I'm sure we'll figure it out.
I start in a few weeks and couldn't be more exited! Great start to the new year.
