Question about blocking phone #s

I have a DB ex b/f that needs to be completely blocked from my life b/c he is abusive and no good can come from him being any part of my life. He has recently started texting me a lot and even though I NEVER respond he keeps doing it.

I have Sprint as my service provider. On their website it shows you how to add a # to your blocklist. I added him for both texts and calls (incoming and outgoing). But somehow I am still receiving texts from him.

Does anyone know if there is another way I have to do this? Any experience with blocking someone using Sprint?

I really just want him to go away forever. Preferably if he crawled in a hole and died that would be best but since that's unlikely to happen I will take not having to hear from him.

Re: Question about blocking phone #s

  • I have Sprint, and have never had to block a number, but I am interested in seeing responses, if there are any.

They see us rollin'...they be hatin'.
  • I'd call Sprint and ask what's up.  Verizon took 24 hours for the block to apply.  I had to block calls and texts, maybe Sprint only blocks calls?  I'd call them.

  • I also have Sprint and I know if you have a smart phone, you can do it right on your phone. There's an option that your phone itself will block the number, not the service provider but I'm not 100% sure how to do it because I *just* got my new phone and I'm not sure how to use it yet.

    Good luck.

I need to do it, too bc STBXH is a tool.

    Any way the wind blows...
