Morning ladies, I will say I am missing Raynes and her daily morning posts. Hope you all don't mind that I just kind of took over while she has been MIA this week. I just really enjoy the daily thread. ![]()
Anyhow, last night was uneventful for me. Dinner, baths, playtime, and bed.
Today I have a focus day at work. I really hate year end, it gets crazy around here and of course there is no one here. I am hoping I don't get a call from DC today as Zach had his first experience of getting sick last night. Sorry TMI, his crib was covered. So he took a nice warm shower with mama this morning, and I am hoping it was just a one time occurance.
Well thats about it for me. What's going on with you ladies today?
Re: It's Thursday!
Ha! I had the same thought! I'll post here and edit!
Yesterday was great. I had a wonderful lunch catching up with two of my best friends...which really was 4 hours long, so it was most of the day's events. Last night Ed and I went out to dinner and then went to bed early.
Today is my second u/s. I am only a little less terrified than I was the first one...though I have no reason to think things won't be okay. I think the whole u/s the first pregnancy was so traumatizing that I will just always be scared...I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything is okay today. My mom is coming down for it and we are planning lunch after, so I hope it will be another nice day.

Morning Ladies,
It is at this point in Winter Break when I realize I brought a whole bunch of stuff home to work on and have done none of it. Sadly Sean went back to work today so that means that only time I can really concentrate on anything is while Myles is sleeping.
Today's plan, go to the gym, then hopefully when Myles naps get some planning done. I also would like to take a nap myself as Myles thought 530 was a great time to start waking up in the morning.
Good luck with the u/s blender! I hope you get a great look at the little bean.
Normal day at work today, although pretty quiet. I'm about to head to an acupuncture session, and then probably head home early. No plans for tonight, since plans with friends fell through.
I should replace some buttons on a few jackets and start my UK taxes, but I would rank the likelihood of those happening as failry low
Cecilia arrived 12 October 2012
Good luck at your u/s today blender!
Another busy day of year end and month end stuff at the office. We have a new financial director who just took over and wants to make a ton of changes for next year so I'm working with her to get all the proper accounts set up. It's a pain right now but I think it will help us be some much more organized and profitable next year.
Nothing exciting planned for tonight so I'm hoping to get to bed early.
Good morning, ladies.
Quiet day at work - not many people here. But I have lots of year-end planning to do, so there's that. It doesn't help that DH has the whole week off and is snowshoeing with his BFF all day while I work. grrrrr.
Have a great day, everyone!
Good morning. Last night was quiet--I got home, decided a gym night was in the plans, and Josh made dinner. After eating, I just read until it was time for bed.
Today I got some good news at work (the event I've been complaining about seems to have been postponed--fingers crossed that doesn't change), but I'm still pretty busy. Oh well. If I can make it until April 20 for Cancun, I will consider myself a raging success.
Back to work. Have a great one, all.
I'm on a quick break at work. It's been pretty uneventful. After work ILs are having some family over for dinner. DH is going to make me a plate and I'll head over after work.
I got to the gym this morning and after that I noticed something while making lunch...Winston peed on the blinds outside our sliding glass door. I got DH and just started crying. I'm having him call the vet today to let them know the current plan is not working and I think we might just try and change up his meds one more time. If that doesn't work, I think we will becoming a one cat household. I'm so sad even thinking of that.
Good luck blender!
beth, sorry to hear about Winston.
Hopefully the new meds will do the trick.
I've been sleeping in like a champ this week, so it's good that someone else can start the daily posts up!
Yesterday was a pretty good day. Fairly lazy until Derek got home from work. I did manage to get an actual, real workout in (first in months, bad raynes) and it felt good. I'm certainly feeling it today, but it's nothing a walk won't help cure.
Today is pretty lazy again. I've got some laundry in now but I'm still lazing around in my PJ's. It's nice to be able to curl up on the couch in front of the fireplace with my book. I will have to tackle cleaning the kitchen later, but, it can wait!
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Hi Kids! We are back from Vegas and we had a great time. I think that doing something completely different for the holidays was just the right thing to do. As my sister said, "Slots and spas and steaks and shows = worst Christmas ever."
I forgot they were turning off the water this morning, so I woke up and had to go shower at the gym and I just got back from lunch with a GP Nestie (it was a two-Nestie Christmas). Still, I am happy to be back, even though we have 9 million loads of laundry and no groceries. I'm off work until the third, so I'm hoping to paint our master bedroom before going back to work.
