I'm ridiculously superstitious.
In high school - MIL and I had to sit in a particular location from one another (ie I had to sit to her left no matter where we were in the stadium) for dh's football games. MIL also had a football angel that a patient gave to her. Every friday night before those HS football games she would also put it on my right side.
Now - I wear the same jewelry (a ring and necklace) to mizzou games. It may not always work, but I feel off without them and freak out about it.
Another specific example (not a lucky charm, just a weird level of superstition) - when Mizzou played Texas A&M we were working at our house in KC. We didn't have TV so we listened to it on the radio. Towards the end of the game - Mizzou started to make a comeback. I came into the kitchen (where dh and my ILs were) from the living room to listen a little more closely...they continued to do well. As soon as I went back into the living room - they started slipping again. So, I stood in the kitchen for the last 45 minutes of the game...and they won!
