Dryer repair recommendation
Our dryer has something wrong with it- it will start to dry but them stop after awhile and we have to let it "cool down" for about 10-15 minutes before it will start up again. I'm hoping it's nothing horrible and would like to get it fixed. I'm in Minneapolis. Does anyone know of a good repair person for this type of thing?
Thanks!
Re: Dryer repair recommendation
we looked into getting our LG repaired because it wouldn't heat and the cost was astronomical... SO, we just did some googling, found some possible troubleshooting and ended up fixing it ourselves. it has done this no-heating thing several times since but now lars knows how to fix it.
have you checked into doing it yourself? otherwise, i can try to find the name of the place that i found on Angie's List.
they were quoting us $300 as a minimum. just the service call was almost $200 and then they said labor was like $80 an hour or something crazy.
the issue with ours is that the pilot light goes out periodically. annoying, but fixable.
good luck!
