What plans do you have for NYE?
I have to go over to my MIL house and the WHOLE family will be there. I am bringing my own bottle of wine to make it through the night. I know at least two people are going to point out that I gained weight during my trip to the States and that my skin is breaking out. Grrr.
I am going to be a rebel this year. You are supposed to dress up but I think I am going over in jeans and a black hoodie. Being drunk and in heels probably isnt the best idea. I should stick to my sneakers.

I'm going into NYC to spend time with a newly-single girlfriend from law school. We're dressing up and being fabulous. Not sure what we're doing--probably just finding a bar--but it will be fun!

We're heading to MIL's mother's house. I'm really looking forward to it - it's one heck of a time! (Christmas with FIL's mom sucked - see WTF GMIL thread.) There's a ton of us and we're all crammed into the living room and we stuff ourselves silly. I'm a bit worried since it's been a tough year for part of the family but I hope they'll be able to relax and have a good time.
I'm going to try to find something to wear tomorrow. I saw a cute black laceish dress at Blanco - here's hoping it'll fit - I've been eating too much over the holidays!
